Statement on Westchester and SOS: Parents in Westchester County, New York, led by Save Our Schools, have forced the resignation of Lakeland Schools superintendent Brendan Lyons, who had been pushing critical race theory in the curriculum. This is a huge victory for us in the fight against critical race theory. Despite efforts from the Biden administration and the media, the revolt against critical race theory is winning—even in deep-blue New York!
BIO
Christopher Rufo is a writer, filmmaker, and senior fellow at Manhattan Institute. He has directed four films for PBS, including his latest, America Lost, he is a contributing editor of City Journal, where he covers critical race theory, homelessness, addiction, crime, and other afflictions. His investigative reporting led President Trump to issue an executive order banning critical race theory from the federal government. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, former visiting fellow in domestic policy studies at the Heritage Foundation, and former Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife and children.
